Howdy!
It's Christmas break! Finally! Freedom! Sixteen straight days without having to run off to school! Huzzah!
Also, I recently passed the 50,000 word mark in my book. Large milestone for me....I'm hoping to almost finish my first draft by the end of the Christmas holidays. With no school, I should have plenty of time for writing.
Another goal for the holidays is to finish the tune for that song that I posted a couple of weeks ago (called "This Christmas"). I have the full tune for the first verse, and a little over half for the second. It shouldn't take long to finish the tunes for all the verses, and after that I just need to write a chorus (and possibly another verse). It will be a short song, but it will be the first one that I've actually ever completed. :D
And...it snowed a couple of days ago! not enough to close the schools, unforutnatley...<_<. But I got to stay home anyway. =D. It wasn't that deep, and it's mostly melted now, but there is supposed to be a LOT more over the Christmas break...(there's a blizzard scheduled for...tomorrow, I believe?)
Anyways, that's all I have to say for now!

YAY for 50,000 word marks! I, for one, am very happy that you reached that goal..it's a tough thing..the longest novel i ever wrote and finished was only 53,000 words..I applaud you..

Araken - I'm not sure. Around 100,000, I think, unless the book winds up ending before that. But that was my goal when I started writing.
So I'm going to try to compress over a year of work into two weeks. Fun. :P

I actually really, REALLY wanted to go this year...unfortunately, the necessary funds are lacking...and I would like to be able to go with a completed book or two. Maybe next year. *sighs*
